I'm interested in these mostly for the camera, a FPV that I can just slap on has huge benefits for BTS footage of my shoots. I don't need anything fancy either as it'll just be for storytelling on social media stories.

Meta did reach out about month ago and offered them to me free for a review but I made a decision a while back not to do any endorsements on my social so I declined. I'll still buy them though if the camera is halfway decent.

Going to answer my own question here, out of the box it started out with 70% battery, I plugged it in overnight and despite the case having a full charge (much like airpods that charge from the case) the glasses will not take a charge and has subsequently died with no usage.

I'll be sending it back, sounds like they're known for QA issues. It's one of the main reasons I like to buy Apple products, when you get a device from them you know it's going to work and be top quality. Fingers crossed they get into the glasses game at some point.
