I need a new watchband that does not cause sweat.

I showered and hung out in pools with my Series 0.

SERIES ZERO.

Still worked a decade later :)

Yep....the swimming was expected....and Apple cut people a lot of slack when they brought their Apple Watches in with water damage despite them using them beyond their rating.

Me, it was 0 > 3 > SE1 > 10 - the 3 would have stuck around a lot longer, but it fell on a patio in Thailand and the screen popped off....out of AC+ by that point of course. The SE1 was no longer supported with the new WatchOS updates....so had to upgrade so I could continue beta testing. :)

my wife hates a wet Apple Watch because VoiceOver is so hard to use then. should have this guy next week I think I paid even less for it. worth the risk I find the apple band comes loose while riding my bike or doing other things that involve fast movement hitting stuff.

Please share how comfortable it turns out to be after you've kicked the tires for a week or so....along with a link :). Temu? Aliexpress? :)

Aliexpress my first order. the ones I found are exactly the same on American sites for 20 to 30.00 each.

I guess my point is I've never had one fail due to water intrusion, my Series 8 I've surfed, showered, dived/snorkeled, wake boarded (and taken some serious spills), etc., my Series 5 before that, pretty much the same use (as much of that in salt water to boot! )

YMMV.

I use it the way I use it, if it fails, so be it 🤣

well got the first band. that was pretty fast 1 week
not quite as soft as the apple band but no slip at all. It will take a little practice to buckle it.

The water resistance of the watches got better after the AW2. The first (0, 1) were only IPX7. After that they're rated for 50 metres of depth.

OK, now it’s easy to get on, and I like that I have more slop to get it over my wrist than the Apple one. It does weigh a little more, of course. What I like is I can have it a little sloppy where you can’t really with the Apple one, or it just keeps getting looser.

Got these two the orange one was supposed to be red. But it’s more of a standard magnet loop. The black one uses a latch to connect it and you need a small screwdriver to adjust the size. It may be more of a hassle to take on and off well there goes 9.00. I will give them away.
