On the one hand, I would expect that your wife would have the ability to prevent Couchboy from deflowering her couch. On the other hand, if he were to show up for treatment, and she could cope with the constant misogynistic insults, just trying to make him less fucked up would put her under a tremendous strain. Especially when she has to, in the interest of adhering to her professional ethics, suppress the profound desire to make him more fucked up.

JD Vance is another republican shiny object that will be discarded relatively quickly, just like Paul Ryan and Mike Pence before him. And Palin, who couldn’t win a congressional seat in her state. And Cheney, who is a party outcast who is voting for Kamala.

I don’t know what Vance’s future looks like, but hopefully it doesn’t include the office of vice presidency, or maybe even congress if we’re lucky. Dude is a smarmy sellout with zero charisma.

I am not going to listen to that man speak anymore, it makes me sick. I do need clarification though... Is he talking about people who don't have dependents anymore like myself, or just people who never had children (their choice or not)?

Just to clarify, I don't have any problem with paying into public schools, public libraries, and other children programs like free school meals. I don't know what his beef is about people without children, because the right seems hell bent on wanting to get rid of public education and public assistance for school aged children.
 
One thing that worked incredibly well (IMO) for Harris during her debate with trump, was the split-screen video of trump on the left side saying silly stuff struggling to create an understandable sentence, and Harris on the right side not being able to control her laughter.

That could work well for Walz tonight.

My guess is that he says that because he has kids. If he didn't, I'm sure he'd fight like hell to pay less taxes. My kids are now adults. And yet it never once crossed my mind that I should pay less in taxes. After having thought on it some, it's still a dumb idea. The fact that it's crossed his mind, and not just in passing, tells me he would be singing a different tune if he were single. What other reason would you even have to think about who should pay more and less?

if you don’t have enough babies, the Jews Will Replace Us™. Not having babies should therefore be taxed, to pay for the eventual pogroms.
 
I hope Walz drags this unprepared rookie grifter through the dirt in tonight's debate.

Vance is uncomfortable and stiff, and makes many gaffes under pressure. Literally every speech I've seen him give since becoming lardo's running mate, he makes mistakes, a couple of them so bad he stops mid-sentence, closes his eyes when realizing his mistake, and then tries to smooth it over - without actually doing so and doubling-down on whatever he was trying to fix in the first place.

Would be great if he bombed and Trump ditched him out of panic.
 
I hope Walz decimates Vance much like Kamala did Lardo. But without official fact checking during the debate, who knows. I wouldn't be surprised if Vance leaves in a huff half way through.

I hope Vance bombs but not for tRump to ditch him. IMO, I feel we have a better chance with imbecile Vance still on the ticket.

He’s a rookie who went from unknown author to VP pick in about two or three years. Hey, it’s all guesswork until this is in the history books, but Walz seems like a comfortable and prepared guy, and he doesn’t need to lie through his teeth like Vance. And Vance has given Walz plenty of material to work with - he has no record to run on beyond one of obstruction, and we have to wonder which version of Vance is the real one - the one who sees Trump as Amerca’s Hitler - heroine for rednecks - or the Vance who is now willing to put his own constituents in harm’s way by “making up stories” (Vance’s own words) and telling racist lies about legal immigrants? If you openly admit that your problem isn’t whether they’re legal status or not, as Vance has said, then you are xenophobic or racist, and probably both.

If Walz goes easy on Vance, I’m going to be so disappointed, these liars deserve to be utterly humiliated in a public forum.

Walz has plenty to work with, and Vance is awkward and uncomfortable every time I’ve seen him, and has often gaffed and regretted his word choice almost on the spot - he literally pauses and closes his eyes when he catches his errors. He’s just not good at this, but I guess he can always prove me wrong,
