Happy belated Canada Day

Many years ago, we drove into Penticton on a Sunday evening, and the next day we were going to go to the bank to get some colourful money for our US money, but it turned out it was BC Day and all the banks were closed.

The Eiger from our hotel in Grindelwald on our recent trip to Switzerland via iPhone13. The good images are still sitting on my Canon. If you remember the Eiger Sanction movie, the hotel from which the climb is started is up around on the right, back side from this perspective. We took a cog train up there. I might have mentioned this before, but I could live there if I could afford it.

It depends on whether you're the pet and, depending on what species of pet, well, then it really matters. In this case the Dog seems to love it, a Cat (maybe), a Crocodile (probably a no-cuddling policy is advised).
