.. December ... winter, seasonal holidays, and a New Year on the way.

Seasonal touch in storefront window of a shop at the local Mall -- photo taken through the glass from outside.

I typically don't show family photos, but it was a semi-decent recreation of Norman Rockwell's Thanksgiving (even if the sun overexposed a bit of my better half). ☀️

Spotted the Norman Rockwell theme right off, well done.

Hellebores aka Christmas rose in December 🙂
In the past years I had several but the snow kind of killed them all, just the pink ones survived : this year I will keep it on the balcony

and all this time I thought your avatar badge was from a cartoon...
;)
Considering I am a step great-grandpa and a ornery person to boot, it is a fair representation of me.

It’s a nice photo around a festive table. The only one not looking too happy is the turkey 😉

this is not a murder fo crows, its a slaughter …

My mother would watch out her living room window every evening to see the migration. As she told it, they would converge on a roosting spot around 5th or 6th street at Yamhill or Taylor, that general area right downtown (there is an Apple Store between 4th and 5th on Yamhill, I bought a 15" M3 Air there about a year ago) and commute out at sunrise to wheresoever their corvidian jobs were.

From a recent road trip down the coast. There was actually no light in the "lighthouse" for whatever reason so I added a little dot in LRC for them.
