I'm shopping for a camera for a trip to Iceland this summer. In addition to weather/water resistance, I'd like something that's lighter than my current Nikon D7200/18-300mm zoom combination and does decent video. When I've traveled using separate devices for stills and video I ended up missing a lot.
I did consider the Sony RX100 VII, but it doesn't have dust or water protection, short of getting a housing.
There are a few Micro Four Thirds cameras that look interesting, including the OM System OM-3, Panasonic Lumix G9 II, and FUJIFILM X-T5. None of them can be submerged, but they are water resistant, and the Olympus has an IP53 rating. The OM-3 is particularly intriguing – my first SLR was an OM-1 and was incredibly solid – but Im a bit concerned about the brand's longevity. (I realize these cameras with lenses are at considerably higher price points than when I posted last year, but I'm willing to spend a bit more.)
