I don’t use X, but apparently it’s down. Elon Musk blames a “massive cyberattack.” I seem to recall him blaming other problems in the past on cyberattacks and then we found out he had just accidentally fired the guy in charge of making stuff work, or whatever, so draw your own conclusions.

The more exact parallel would be for Elon to "sign a cease fire immediately, give them half of Twitter, and say it was actually Twitter that cyberattacked Ukraine."

Apparently, some Xitter servers were not correctly located behind Cloudflare protection, which made them vulnerable to a botnet. Of course, not a single shred of proof that Ukraine was involved in any way.

Speaking of not taking much, it's like a few years ago a voice in Musk's head went "Uh oh, a few tech journalists think I may actually be an idiot and fraud. I must go out and prove to the entire world that they are absolutely right! Make Musk great again!"
