I'd say warn people away from doing so, but otherwise let nature take its course. Once someone gets fried, his story will spread from there, and serve as a cautionary tale for everyone else to heed.

At first I thought these were just power lines, but these are high tension power lines. That’s even dumber!

My brother was the one who observed that eagles would land on a wire and while perched there would take a crap and the stream would frequently contact another wire, leading to cooked bird. He talked to the power company and got them to change their wire patterns to reduce the likelihood of a lower one being in eagle-crap-trajectory with a higher one. It helped reduce eagle deaths somewhat.
