Over $143 billion in revenue, over $42 billion in profit, and massive growth for iPhone. 99% customer satisfaction for iPhone specifically, and 96-99% overall across all categories!

Apple is not standing still.
The focus on great design -- both industrial and human interface together -- powered by advanced engineering, focused on a relentless pursuit of optimistic vision, continues to lead Apple to the front of the technology industry. I'm really excited for all the cool new products they will release in the future! :)

I’m interested to see what they do with the home appliances (the various rumored home hubs, the rumored cameras and doorbell, etc.)

And I will spend the next 7 or 8 months agonizing over whether I want an iphone 18 pro max with amazing cameras and face id, or the foldable with a huge screen but giving up the telephoto lens (and possibly variable aperture and now a rumored-but-unlikely teleconverter) and being stuck with touch id.

There are now rumors of a far thinner Face ID module for iPhone Air and the folding iPhone/iPad. Apple's thinnest product, the iPad, can fit Face ID at 5.1 mm. The rumors speculate somewhere around 4-5 mm when unfolded, so it's possible that Apple gets to put Face ID inside. From what I read, Apple still can't get the price of Face ID modules down low enough (and since a folding product needs 2, it costs twice as much in a product rumored to be using Titanium, brand new folding creaseless screen technology, Liquid Metal, and 2nm chips, which is why it's been rolled out to products slowly over time.

Hopefully they fit it for the first generation!

Problem is they’d possibly need two of them, since you wouldn’t want to have to Face ID then flip the phone around to the other screen.

I know. That's what I was trying to say at the end of the comment, that they're already spending a lot of money to make the product to begin with because of titanium, Liquid Metal, creaseless folding screen, 2nm chips, etc, and Face ID is already expensive to begin with. I think I read somewhere an estimate (which really is never accurate, but anyways) was around $60 for 1 module.
