Apple reverting some iOS 26 changes

iOS 26.4 makes two app updates that bring back iOS 18 designs - 9to5Mac

iOS 26.4 beta 2 arrived today for developers, and it has two changes that reverse iOS 26 app search designs to be more like iOS 18.

Not sure if this is the start of a general un-Dye-ification, or if something else is going on.

Apple also went back and forth with different liquid glass options in previous beta cycles. This means nothing in that context, but leave it to 9to5 to write stupid articles. I'm not sure even sure how this would be "un-Dye-ification," as if somehow this change is something to be desired?

The bottom search bar is ergonomical. Who did that? Dye lol.

There's an argument to be made for pursuing either option.
