The panel — whose members were all appointed by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — began the day with a reading of the proposed voting language, followed by discussion from the panel members and other experts. Restef Levi, an ACIP member and mathematician who has no medical training, strongly argued against the universal birth dose, falsely claiming that experts had "never tested (the vaccines) appropriately." Levi said he believed the committee should not recommend any timeline for the vaccine.

Meanwhile, the actual science shows that it is and always has been safe and effective. The medical community says to expect a rise in both acute infections and long term liver cancer.

I'm sure this isn't surprising anyone with RFK Jr in charge. In no time at all, I'm sure polio and smallpox will make a comeback! :(

(yes, they'll have to source the smallpox from a lab somewhere....I have faith in this administration to Mr Magoo that into the wild) *sigh*

lucky, most real doctors and medical professionals don't use this info now. Only the antivax red states will.
Unfortunately, many families rely on a government programs that will follow the new recommendations and therefore won't have ready access to the Hepatitis B vaccine.

One of the speakers was Aaron Siri, an attorney with no relevant training who argued against vaccine mandates for around 90 minutes. Maybe he used Apple's Siri as his source.

Messed up on so many levels, the thing is that nobody can figure out exactly why they chose to even go down that road, it's like they're just arbitrarily choosing vaccines to remove mandates for no apparent reason.

Times are dark right now but the American people are getting what they asked for. Hopefully they're waking up now.

One thing to keep in mind is that preventive actions/drugs/vaccines are in a fundamental conflict with manufacturer's long-term interests in maintenance and palliative measures/drugs that need repeated purchases over a long time.

Is that a round about way of saying it's not cost effective for the purposes of profitability?

Round about is in the eye of the beholder... and YES.

It looks more and more like we have lost our collectives minds and all (hard earned!) lessons from the 20th century.

Just look at the latest "US National Security Strategy", which makes explicit Washington’s support for Europe’s nationalist far-right parties and abandonment of NATO.
