More to the point, I don’t think one needs to be a scientist to see how 150 years or so of heavy industry can cause big problems with the globe. Seems pretty obvious. Fixing it will be hard. Our Supreme Court now openly flouts they are bought and paid for, the veneer of even attempting to appear principled and unbiased is gone, so I expect us to move backwards on addressing the issue, the special interests have already won unless we get 60 democratic senators, two or three more justices and another few democratic presidents. Republicans’ only goal seems to be forcing their non-practiced religious beliefs that they can’t agree on themselves down everyone else’s throat, and marginalizing all non-white males, and helping the rich amass more wealth at any and all cost.

That’s the republican platform from which all other agenda items derive.
