I'm sure it's just because of my age but for the life of me I cannot understand why anyone would do this to themselves, especially when they were already so naturally beautiful. It's like sure, I know I'm hot now but wait until you see me after sticking my face into an angry hornets nest.

I still watch a lot of Benny Hill reruns and the women were so different then, no tattoos, real breasts, real faces, etc. I'll take that any day over this modern pretentious look.

Going for the Melania look to please trump.

Well, somebody probably finds that attractive. But, at least she is better advertising the kind of person she is. Easier for men with reasonable taste to walk past.

One of the most notorious cases is that of Jennifer Grey. She was the lead in Dirty Dancing and played the sister of Ferris Bueller. Then she had her nose abbreviated, and came to regret it, because people would say "you know, you kind of remind me a little of that one girl …"

@Eric, I am assuming you don’t have a Gen-Z daughter? Mine has trained me not to ever comment on anything any woman does.

It's our society. The fashion magazines have created this culture that women need to aspire to be "perfect". People are allowing their daughters to have boob jobs when they're in their early to mid teens!!! Horrible! Me, I think that's child abuse!!!

I keep having this fight with my wife. She's Thai. Cosmetic surgery is much more commonplace in Bangkok than it is in Vancouver. It doesn't matter how many times I tell her she's perfect. Most of her friends have had "touch ups". :(

Heh...and me being on the spectrum....it really drives me up the wall having the same conversations over and over again. :D

I'm sure when she outlives me, she'll fly to Bangkok and come back looking completely different. :(

IMO it adds imperfection to otherwise great looking young (and older) ladies. I had a buddy who was very much the way you describe here, as soon as his daughters were old enough they ran out and got boob jobs, he intrained it into them at a young age. For some people vanity is everything, for me I'll take the real you any day and am frankly turned off by it entirely.

Good for you for fighting the good fight :ROFLMAO:

Same with Sandra Bullock, she's gone full Michael Jackson.

Had not seen her. Shame.

And if not for the voice and knowing she was in it, I don’t think I would have recognized Demi Moore in Landman.

Take the politics out of it, these women were all decent looking before they stuck their faces into a hornets nest. Not a single one benefited from this look, what a total waste.
