(KRON) — A cyberattack that took Foster City government services offline last week remains ongoing, according to an update from the city. The City of Foster City announced last Thursday it had been hit by a cyber security breach that was impacting city services due to ransomware on its networks.
As a result of the attack, city IT staff put all public services outside of emergency services on pause. On Monday, five days after the attack was first announced, its impacts were ongoing.
