iOS 19 rumors

Jon Prosser with a potential leak about the iOS 19 camera app (which may also reflect changes made to the overall interface). The interface is more glassy, similar to VisionOS. I like it. I am tired of Ive’s flat look.



Of course, it could be that only the photos app is changing (it has become a bit of a mess, after all, and the camera button has only made things worse, IMHO), but there were earlier rumors that iOS 18 would take some inspiration from VisionOS, so maybe those changes got delayed by a year.

I can’t remember if Prosser was one of them, but weren’t a bunch of leakers last year predicting it’d be iOS 18 that we’d get the Vision Pro-inspired redesign? I’m kind of hesitant to believe it now.

It's too bad Vision Pro didn't take off like Apple had hoped, not sure it's necessarily their fault though, the world just doesn't seem ready for something like that to go mainstream yet.

according to rumors, they actually sold more so far than they expected.
