Figured I'd open a specific place to post clips from LWT

Great piece about "the wall" ... I remember when I was following an acquaintance who's a structural engineer, a guy who has constructed bridges all over the world, and he was saying, "Umm, this isn't going to work ..."

Original piece from 2016:

The follow up from last week, which is just amazing, especially given the context we have now:

Nice idea. Although LWT is ostensibly a comedy show, John talks about some very serious subjects. You can learn quite a bit from watching.

(Memo to Danbury CT, though: get a fucking sense of humor.)

He teaches through entertainment. He’s like the teacher who tricks you into learning something. I really like him. I just have to remember to watch him on Mondays.

I enjoy his shows a lot. A lot of my conservative friends/people I know do not like him. I'm not sure why... I enjoy quite a few of his shows and watch regularly. The amount of information one learns from his shows are extremely valuable. I think he upsets a lot of people tho. lol.

How great is that... upsetting a city enough to get a sewage plant named after you... Doing something right I guess :).

LOL. Turns out they weren’t really gonna go through with it...and John is upset.

It’s a helluva episode for other reasons, too. Lotsa good stuff about the RNC, racism and Kenosha.

Edit: Okay, the segment above is great, but it doesn't contain the funny Danbury stuff. Here it is.

I once made a semi-detailed analysis on the original hydroxychloroquine+azithromycin paper on Reddit (on a Trumpist subreddit). A few weeks later he pointed the same issues out with the same study in the same order with the same emphasis. He's team either thinks the way I do or read reddit. I've not read the same type of criticism of the study elsewhere. It was amusing.

found it:

That paper should have been retracted it was so bad.
