Lost phone how to find the owner?

found a cricket phone in the road today a android phone of course locked. you can go to emergency call and call someone from there but they don't have anyone listed. I found the persons name but thats it.

Take it to a Cricket store. They should be able to use IMEI number to contact the owner.

I tried that they said they had no way to do it. that just may be the employees. but you cant get the number unless it has a removable battery.

well the owner tracked is phone to our house. but it was after we went to bed. he was knocking and the phone was ringing. looks like he left the phone on the hood of his car. it was at 4% charge I plugged it in at 4 and at 10:30 it was only 87% charged. he was lucky I was on my bike af first I thought it was a smashed phone but then stopped and checked it out. it would have gotten run over soon.
