If you can't care for yourself how can you care about anyone else? Good riddance.

Rochester, Minnesota — Mayo Clinic fired 700 employees Tuesday who didn't comply with its policy to get vaccinated against COVID-19 by Monday, CBS Minnesota reports.

The dismissed employees make up about 1% of Mayo's 73,000 workforce.

Hopefully they gave those with medical and or religious reasons to get waivers first.

Can't speak for the MN location, but our former babysitter works for Mayo in Phoenix. Until mid-December she thought she was going to lose her job. She finally got a Medical exemption but it wasn't easy.

There is no valid religious reason / exemption to not get vaccinated, unless it's religion that you made up yourself. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Agreed, but give them the appeal process anyway to make sure that you are playing fair, or suffer the lawsuits.

Here in Houston, as reported in the media, Houston Methodist Hospital gave a warning and then fired those employees who refused vaccinations. So where the State is impotent, big business sometimes does the right thing, with COVID, more times than not, yet I acknowledge their motivation is keeping the workers working. :)
