Nate Silver out at Five Thirty Eight

Since he created it, what stops him from just starting it over?
fivethirtyeight is not going away, just Nate Silver. He can make a new site, but it will be a bit of an upward schlep, as fivethirtyeight has at least two decades of name recognition. It will become like that rice cooker I bought some years ago, thinking that "Cuisinart" was a well-known brand, how bad could it be (spoiler: whoever it was bought the name has turned their product line into overpriced garbage, IME).

He will be in the same boat as James O'Keefe. They created a thing, brought in other people who then forced them out.
