Dude was intimidating with major dad energy. He was so funny in Coming to America with the earnest McDowell’s sales pitch and how it’s a totally different thing from McDonald’s. Playing it straight was comedic gold.

I remember him from West Wing as the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
