It will be interesting to see what comes of this, it seems like it's just a matter of time.

The rumors are that it will be some sort of hybrid AR/VR thing. The gist of the rumors is that this is a placeholder device, with the “real” goal of all their R&D coming a year or two later (something more like a pair of regular glasses).
