She was great in Tootsie and other films, but I'll always have a soft spot for her playing Roberta Lincoln in the Star Trek episode Assignment: Earth. It was Teri Garr's first significant TV role. One of my favorite episodes too. The sequence where Kirk had to decide to let Gary Seven take over the detonation and the subsequent countdown was fantastic. I never get tired of it. Teri Garr portrayed the perfect combination of youthful innocence and savvy. Thanks for the tip on the comic miniseries!Totally agree.

Not to get too far off topic, but Assignment: Earth is such a fantastic (TOS) episode, I'm sure you know, the plan was to take it to series - but that there is a terrific comic (written/illustrated by John Byrne who had some iconic runs on X-Men), that's really good, available at your usual sources (Amazon, Comixology, etc.):
