The Rs have the thinnest majority you can imagine in the house. Just two or three Rs voting no or not voting could scuttle it.
 
I hope they do. I mean, I’m not happy with what’s happening, I don’t want to pay more - but I didn’t vote for those things either. The people who voted for the man who knows nothing but thinks he knows everything did, and he said he was going to do it. I’m watching a fired federal employee - a veteran who voted for Trump - whine about being fired. Trump sat on a podcast with Musk and joked about Musk being a “great cutter”. You thought he was joking?

I hate to say it would be funny if it weren’t so true and pervasive, but I’m an arsehole and can find something sad and funny at the same time. I can take it on a case by case basis and there will certainly be some exceptions, but for the most part, I have zero sympathy on the whole for any Trump voter, for any situation they find themselves in. And in many cases, I also find it funny.

So if our immigrant agriculture workforce gets decimated I assume that anybody who lives in an agriculture area will be cut off from receiving unemployment as long as there is field work available, right? No?

White people picking strawberries for $5 an hour, would love to see that. Since it will never happen we'll see a dramatic rise in prices.

I tried it when I was like 12 and the Mexicans were picking 10 flats to my every one. I cried and asked for my mommy to come get me like a typical white kid, I don't think they had that option.

We Americans are simply not ready to cope with reality. Computerization of fucking everything is hurting our human capabilities. When the effluent encounters the spinning blades, we will be at the bottom of the bluff, trying to find someone who can give us climbing lessons.
