The Inflation Reduction Act is now law

Biden has only been president for 19 months and has had more legislative victories than any recent president, and big victories at that.

Contrast that to the many challenges the country is facing and the division he walked into, and it’s all the more surprising. His approval numbers tanked amid inflation and a string of legislative setbacks, but you have to remember (and this is my opinion only), democrats seem far more likely to express honest disproval with Biden than republicans are with Trump, so when comparing their approval ratings you should do so with caution.

At any rate, big win for Biden and America. Not even halfway through his term, that’s a lot of success.

I think the Dems have made a mistake calling it the Inflation Reduction Act. Now people are going to expect it to reduce inflation. When it doesn't..........

Could be but it already seems to be subsiding and that may work in their favor and let's face it, Biden's numbers have nowhere to go but up after the last several months.

It looks like inflation is coming down on its own as the market stabilizes around the world. It seems the Democrats planned this at just the right time, so they'll get credit for it, even if the bill doesn't do anything at all.

Right, I'm of the opinion that no president (from either side) makes or breaks the market like this, it's cyclical. Whoever happens to be in charge when it bounces back will take credit for something they had little to nothing to do with.

TBH I can see both sides of this, I get Democrats want to help those who need it, at the same time Conservatives would rather let things right themselves. IMO both have merit in their own right.
