I just realized that if/when this whole thing blows over how hilariously pathetic that’s going to look sandwiched between the insightful and wise writings of other Presidents. Washington…Lincoln…Roosevelt (either or both) …Eisenhower…Reagan (cause why not)….Obama…and then BAM! This whining from Trump. :ROFLMAO:

While it's most disconcerting that this horrible person was actually president for four years and continues to get large numbers of his deplorables to believe whatever he says, what's equally discouraging is how the party of patriotism, law and order, family values and strict constitutionalism refuses to disassociate itself from him and his big lie about the election, even after a violent attack on the Capitol. With the exception of several well known nut jobs in the GOP, most of them know what Trump is about but they're more concerned with their personal political survival than what's best for the country.
 
Well last January 6th was a special day for constitutional tasks of the US Congress. The upcoming January 6th is at least theoretically just another instance of Epiphany for those who celebrate the Twelve Days of Christmas. I always wondered why either God or one of the Three Kings didn't reach out and tap Trump for inciting such a ruckus on a holy day... but maybe they just didn't want to get their hands dirty.

Spoken like a petulant eight year old. He's going to try to keep this going, especially on the anniversary of Jan. 6 every year.

I can't wait to see the horror show that awaits us if somehow, some way, in spite of all the voter suppression, a Democrat is elected to become president in January 2025. You think 1/6 was something? The right just might burn down Washington.
 
He’s literally amplifying and trying to have another January 6 at some point. It’s playing out in broad daylight all over again. He wants to be a dictator, or win at all costs. He’s suffered no consequences, his base is a large minority of the country and they are deeply devoted to him, dismiss everything he does and anything done or not done by the left is proof of some massive conspiracy to explain their losses.

It’s going to be ugly. Wish this conman had stayed a dirt show celeb who occasionally starred in a commercial. His appeal is baffling. But here we are, questioning democracy because of him. What a world.
 
He is so predictable. Always doubles-down and then just tells an entirely different version of reality, and these rednecks and Congress creeps all buy into it 100%. Doesn’t matter how much hypocrisy he shows (if you plead the fifth you’ve got something to hide, only guilty people settle lawsuits, etc). They go along with it every. single. time.

They’re promoting exercising their 2nd amendment rights - which is just another way of saying “time to start shooting people”.

Lunatics like MTG and Paul Gosar suffer no consequence from their side of the aisle.

And we will have to pretend to be surprised when something worse than January 6 happens, even as these extremists in Congress are amplifying the same things that lead us there in the first place.
 
In a recent interview Trump said the following:

“The vaccine is one of the greatest achievements of mankind. I came up with a vaccine — with three vaccines — all are very, very good … in less than nine months. It was supposed to take five to 12 years.”

Maybe he'll win the Nobel Prize in biology for coming up with the vaccines. Of course the award committee would have to overlook his earlier attempts to address the pandemic - suggesting doctors look into injecting disinfectant or shining uv light into patients while at the same time leading a culture war against wearing masks. I guess that line of research didn't pan out for him but he persisted and finally came up with the vaccines. He told us that he was "like really smart" and a "stable genius" but silly me I didn't believe him.

Seriously though, what an idiotic braggart this guy is. It's all in line with his other pronouncements such as that we no longer have anything to worry about from N. Korea after he met with Kim, how only he could fix things, etc.
