I have heard people who know far more than I do about any of this (not a hard feat, admittedly) give every theory under the sun. Nobody really knows what's going to happen. I'm not too bothered either way about Trump remaining on the ballot per se, but NOT if we don't get a precedent. If he stays on or gets booted, fine, but we need to have a precedent and clearer understanding. This way, whether Trump stays on or not, the cause was worthy and we get something out of it. It would be a dereliction of duty if efforts aren't made by the judiciary to prevent something like J6 from happening again, and to have clear guardrails in place if it does.
