Workers Are Funding The War On Themselves

The short version. State governments are giving employee pension funds to Wall St. Wall St is charging them exorbitant fees, sometimes adding up to more than the funds they are given to invest. They promise big returns on investment but most times that isn't the case, no better than any low risk investment any schmuck could do. The fees are often funding lavish lifestyles of those in finance and used in campaigns and lobbying against worker rights. There are laws in place that prevent the government from asking for records and transparency. The government managers in charge of these funds are often finance ignorant and don't ask for much details or accountability and are often swept up in hanging out with billionaires to give this all a pass. This is a ponzi scheme and while some politicians rail against entitlements they won't mention that this is the cause of funding issues.

This is the kind of shit that has been going on behind closed doors while we are told to fix our eyeballs on the southern border for all problems and solutions.

Clearly they need a better classification scheme. State secrets like this should not be allowed to leak out, if only for the sake of maintaining a "stable" "democracy".

That's one of the biggest issues with Trump. The government should at least promote the illusion that we are a stable democracy. He promotes that we're fucked at every turn and blames the least likely cause. If we "fixed" whatever it is that he is blaming it would have little to no impact.
