As for Cuellar, maybe it's just a coincidence that he:

1) Is a staunch anti-abortion Democrat, and
2) He has been hammer Biden on the border crisis for months if not years.

He is the House version of Manchin, so no wonder they went after him.
Or maybe it's a coincidence that he's corrupt. If you guys could just once simply look at something illegal as being illegal instead of playing favorites for political purposes it would be just great. You must have hated Reagan.

Fiscal responsibility? What about caring for other human beings?

A CEO has a fiduciary duty to maximize profitability for the shareholders. This is the strict sociopathic nature of the structure of our economic system. Often times, a company could do better by spending money on things that yield a tertiary benefit that comes back around indirectly to enhance revenue, but the constraints of the bean tallies usually prevent the broad-view approach to business management. The government tends to be better at broad views, which annoys business leaders because they are interested in upholding their fiduciary duty (and being able to afford bigger toys).

There are layers of complexity to the way the system operates. Business has a lot of control over the greater dialog and spends a lot of money conditioning the perceptions of populace. I mean, we were fine with cars until the MV industry started relentlessly pounding it into our heads that we want trucks and SUVs (probably because CAFE and emissions standards are looser for those). So many Americans believe our system is awesome and we should not be messing with it, largely because business has worked hard shaping our views. But that seems to be gradually changing. Could be hope for us yet.

Wow, you guys sure see a lot of things based on nothing, and miss a lot based on everything. I can name about 50 Trump “coincidences” and they all involve - “coincidentally” - Trump. Maybe it’s just a coincidence many of his lawyers and cabinet have gone to prison, been indicted, plead guilty.

Nah, none of these people are guilty or accountable - clearly Joe Biden is skirting meetings about Israel, infrastructure, healthcare, worker unions, etc, so he can meet with Merrick Garland and DoJ officials about who to indict next.

For a guy pulling the strings in multiple federal and - somehow - state courts, while also managing to pass a shit-ton of important things, it’s remarkable you consider him old, bumbling and with handlers.

Let me ask you, if Trump had handlers, would you care if all his policies and results were the same? Big tax cuts for his golf buddies, doing what you accuse Biden of and working with his attorney general to lock Michael Cohen back up because of a book he was releasing, etc?
