Interesting stat and a sign of the times I guess. While most of us grew up in a world where you needed to physically call or talk to a woman in person, kids have it a lot easier today with a swipe or hiding behind a digital device.

I have embarrassed the offspring (F24) multiple times simply because I will walk up and talk to strangers. It could be about anything but that concept is completely foreign to her.

We were at an exhibit somewhere and Utkarsh Ambudkar (Donald from Pitch Perfect) was there and she noticed him, but would not go ask for a pic. So I did. Looking at it her face is red from embarrassment. LOL.

But she was also the kid who we couldn’t drop at the door of a restaurant to go put our name in, yet with no notice or prep would grab a mic and sing the National Anthem in front of 500 people and not blink and eye.

In my experience in the past decade or so - if you have the guts to actually talk to a woman in a genuine non-creepy way, and said woman is not trash, you have a pretty great chance of positive outcome.

I mean I'm not a model/rock-star/etc. but my odds in that time frame are 100%, and due to putting myself in social situations have actually been approached in that way by the woman.

Key things being:
go outside
socialise
don't make it a mission to "pick up"
treat other people like human beings rather than trophies

it's not difficult.
