Apple Arcade is getting Civilization VII and three more new games - 9to5Mac

Apple has just announced the latest new games coming to Apple Arcade, and there’s a big AAA title among them: Sid Meier’s Civilization VII.

I’ve been waiting for Civ VII on iPad, and it turns out I’ll get it for free as part of apple arcade! I’ve been playing civ since the original, when my friends would go downstairs into the computer lab in Nugent Hall to play it. (I was lucky enough to have my own AST PC clone in my room so I could play there). I hear some mixed things about VII, but I’m looking forward to trying it.

“Retrocade” is also coming to Apple Arcade, and looks fun.

Huge for Apple Arcade. I think the current device is great for kids but more of this and it could be a whole family solution. And with a lot more effort into Mac games it could be a competitor to Xbox game pass.
