Apple Music will now Require Disclosure of AI Use

According to Apple, from their own sourced article, they are indeed investing it. Believe what you like though by all means.
Lol. I'll believe the filed reports for SEC. And you left out a lot of other things that qualify as "investments" in that newsroom article. Do feel free to show where they are spending $500 billion in "AI" just like I literally mentioned Facebook was. They aren't.

The good news is that Apple’s business doesn’t depend on AI succeeding, unlike all the other big companies that are throwing the entirety of their businesses behind it. People buy iPhones despite their limited AI features, not because of them. So I don’t see Apple being afraid to label AI-created content.

My read of the Apple release is that the spend over four years will go to a wide variety of initiatives and projects, from data centers to entertainment to R&D to manufacturing. It’s hard to tell how much will be spent on AI. I doubt it’s the bulk of it, though there’s admittedly overlap.

Regardless, I agree with @Cmaier that Apple isn’t putting all their chips into AI. It seems to me that they’re taking a reasonable approach. I’ve found some of their AI tools, like image editing and spatial conversion, useful; some (e.g., email categories, not so much. But I can easily use the ones I like and disable the others.

They're definitely the least of all the offenders and so far the only ones taking steps to address it so you have to give them that. It's still a hard sell, even on the iPhone it seems.
