I didn’t know his work, but it’s sad to hear of his premature death. Apparently, his medical care caused significant financial hardship for his family, highlighting the horrific state of the U.S. healthcare system.

Hard to say why there was financial difficulty without more information, but I've seen people in dire straits from catastrophic illness even with good insurance.I understand what you are saying, but he should have had insurance through the SAG/AFTRA. And it should have been great.
I know my BIL has health insurance through the Emmy’s because he was nominated. And it’s cheap.
Still very sad as he left 6 kids without a dad.
