I feel like I'm taking crazy pills? Or maybe the rest of the world is?

One lawyer even saying that while the Disney+ defense is a "stretch" buying the 2023 ticket could work as one? I know lawyers have obligations to their clients but at some point making these kinds of arguments has got to piss off a Judge and result in actual consequences for the lawyer. Of course, maybe worse the Judge says "yeah totally reasonable!" If this question ever reached the Supreme Court, I wouldn't be surprised if they thought that.

I saw this and it seems to be straight out of the “throwing spaghetti” school of legal argument.

The problem I see is that Disney does have a forced arbitration clause in the ticket sale agreement, but where I’m not up to snuff is where such a clause plays here. As this is a civil suit, it is depressingly relevant where the line can be drawn on such a clause.

This is one of the reasons why I’m not a fan of EULAs as they are used today, and generally getting the full force of a contract that is signed between two equal parties.
