Donald Trump 2024 Presidential Campaign Announcement Nov. 15

I heave heard there is a huge run on catsup and Florida is catsup dry now.

Trump should be looking to move offshore right about now. The time for tantrums is almost over. He needs a place to live where there's no extradition treaty with the USA. That way we can still imagine we have a rule of law that applies to everyone, and he can still imagine that he was persecuted in partisan fashion.

well one report shows he paid 750.00 in federal taxes the year before he became president. but his income increased while being president and he paid over 1 million. Remember all the claims he gave away his income???

Think he only meant that he'd be giving away his salary as President...

By offshore if he doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life in a concrete box he should probably spend it on a boat in international waters, perhaps off the coast of Somalia where their "tourists" would love to see his gold toilets.

Bermuda Triangle would be about right, if only the old myths about it were true: the perfect punishment for him would be just vanishing. Better yet if Trump just became invisible yet still walked among us in silence, unable to disseminate his lies or to bathe in the adulation of his followers.

I'd still like to see him in a federal penitentiary. That would be a good reminder to all that crooked politicians, even a crooked president, are not above the law.

I wouldn't mind if he ends up convicted and sentenced to some time in the Georgia election fraud case (a state case, not federal). Especially since the Georgia state prisons have come under scrutiny by the Department of Justice.

There’s a good deal of time and money spent by those in Trump’s class figuring out where they can go hide while humanity destroys itself thanks to their actions. Unfortunately Trump’s ego won’t allow him to go get a head start on that. I don’t know which is Trump’s biggest nightmare, trapped with all his low information/income supporters or trapped with all the people in his classs who know he’s a joke and a fraud.

Correct. It would be too humiliating for him to realize or admit that he has merely been used by his peers and the officials of the party that nominated him for President and all had their own agendas. They wanted someone malleable and they got it --whether they were pols or industry lobbyists or "friends"-- along with a base that felt left out and so was also malleable, not to mention an expansion of the GOP's electorate.

Anyway he's a guy who apparently doesn't even really like to spend nights on the road. He likes to hang his hat in a place he can call home, so in one of his clubs or residences. Maybe if they overpaint the signs at the entrance to whatever prison he lands in, he'll be fine: "Trump Correctional Institute".

"That Trump is a uniquely terrible businessman was known long before this. In 2020, the New York Times successfully obtained years of tax records, mostly from his pre-presidential life. Even those who had long been skeptical that a guy who hawked ringtones was really a "billionaire" were astonished at how very, very bad he is business. Over his lifetime, Trump was handed nearly a billion dollars by benefactors, first his father, then "Apprentice" producer Mark Burnett. Trump promptly flushed it all down the toilet. He didn't just fritter away at least $834 million in cash — the reporting showed he was at least $421 million in debt. That's over $1.2 billion lost over the years, and that's not even counting the many losses he's been able to use creative accounting to conceal."
