Well, now.

My Ariya is about a year old (at least, with respect to my abuse of her). What does that mean? Oh, yeah, tabs. I get to registrate her.

Some guy years ago got the state to lock registration at $30. It was indeed a thirty dollar registration fee. But, of course, there were other numbers on the bill, from a $0.25 charge for "license plate technology" to a "RTA Excise tax" that was itself more than 15 times the base registration fee. In the end, my tabs cost …

I don'wanna talk about it.

I almost started a "If you couldn't own an EV, what ICE would you have instead?"

Then I realized probably doesn't need a whole thread, since the EV BMW owners here would just switch to ... ICE BMWs

Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400 AWD. Then I would see what parts I could crib from a GTR to make more power. I probably would spend some money putting a couple of JLA 12W7's in the back. Or maybe get an mid 2000's Subaru Leggy GT. A Lancer Evo 10 would also be on my list. I probably could be talked into an M3 Comp but would be very sad about it.

I am hearing that they can finally do DME unlocks now, so they can be tuned. Really if you have a gas powered car and it isn't tuned what are you doing with your life?

I've not heard of too many S58's dying, though I guess being concerned about a warranty for a performance vehicle is fair.
