Home Depot rolling out Apple Pay

I know there probably isn't a good way for them to track this kind of loss of business, but there are times I just won't buy something at a store if it requires me to find somebody to unlock it. Maybe the item gets stolen more than people like myself choosing to not buy it. Dunno.
there was a recent study that showed that the vast majority of people don’t bother to ask for someone to unlock stuff, and they just buy it somewhere else.

I don't know about the truthfulness of the losses they are incurring, didn't it recently come out that the claims were more than exaggerated? CVS has 84oz laundry detergent, locked up. I find it hard to believe that people were stealing those big bottles of detergent.

The other day I did ring the button in CVS, and since it was busy the employee came over gave me the keys and went back to the registers. I am not sure what the store protocol is, but I am sure that wasn't it. I could have just walked out the store with the keys.

Unless I need it today, I will usually either buy it online for in-store pickup or order it somewhere else completely.

Most definitely a luxury/impulse purchase, but I put off buying a butane torch from Home Depot because they are caged. I don’t “need” it as I would most likely only use it to light my firepit, but I figure that one purchase will last me a lifetime as opposed to dealing with dead or lost lighters. :ROFLMAO:

Not only are they locked up, but you will have to show ID to purchase it. Same with spray paint.

I have a bunch of these that I keep various places. One in the garage, one in my SXS, one in the house, one on the back porch, etc.
