Yeah, my understanding is that if a Trump-friendly state legislature feels that their election was somehow illegitimate, they can appoint their own slate of electors.

Now, that will only help in states where Biden has already been declared the winner. They would need to do this in two or three states such as Pennsylvania to “un-flip” enough votes to get Biden back below 270.

it’s despicable, it’s cowardly, but I wouldn’t put it past them to try something like this.

Read this morning that Trump is even going to attempt to mess with that by trying to replace electoral college members in swing states with Trump supporter members.

That has been my fear for months. And don't think for a moment that Mitch et al won't turn a blind eye. Hell, they'll assist in any way possible if it means they stay in power.
