Ignored music groups/artists from your youth that you now enjoy

I've always kind of fancied myself open minded musically. In my youth I went to concerts by Slayer to Yanni in the same year, but there's still artists I was aware of at the time that I didn't "get". With age comes wisdom and now I get it.

Off the top of my head Billy Idol, James Taylor, and Hall & Oats.
