A man who wants to run Oklahoma’s school system has pushed a claim about liberals supposedly installing litter boxes in schools to accommodate students who identify as cats, even though it’s been debunked as a myth.
Republican Ryan Walters’ comments appeared in a video posted by The Lost Ogle, an Oklahoma blog. The site said Walters was “talking to a group of fellow right-wing voters earlier this month at a meeting in Stillwater.”

Indeed, the rumour appears to come from America in a mimicry of the USA’s culture war surrounding LGBT+ education in schools.

Last January, the superintendent of Midland Public Schools in Michigan was forced to address community members on Facebook after the rumour took hold locally.

Since then, however, it has spread to numerous US states and now to Scotland.

It has even been parroted by former QAnon supporter and Republican politician Marjorie Taylor Greene.

During a speech at a rally in Pennsylvania in September last year Greene repeated false assertions that schools in the state were lowering tables and putting out litter boxes for who students who identified as “furries” or cats.

This shit is invented by ultra-rich right-wing think tanks. Why this? To further the agenda to privatize education to indoctrinate kids, but more importantly to steal even more money from the lower classes in the trillion dollar education system.

The ruling class is running out of ways to hose people directly as everybody is already leveraged to death. So the next goal is to steal your tax dollars via privatization of every government service.
