Max changing names to HBO Max. Again.

I never stopped calling it HBO. I canceled it a year or two ago, but just re-upped because of a price break though my Amex card and to watch The Last of Us.

It blew my mind in every direction when they dropped the best brand name in TV from the name of their streaming service. Gotta be top 5 bad marketing decisions the TV business has ever seen.

Exactly, they can change it every week and it wouldn't matter to me. Either way I love the platform, and am also digging The Last of Us.

Does anyone remember when the well known software company Borland changed its name to Inprise?
They changed it back to Borland, because that name was well known, while no one cared about Inprise.

I loved Borland. I was a huge Turbo Pascal guy. Not to mention Sidekick and even Turbo C. Every time I drive past Scotts Valley I think of them.

There's a name I haven't heard in awhile. I used Reflex (flat) and Reflex Plus (relational), which I still have. I was once able to run it in a Mac emulator, but I haven't tried for years.

I forgot about Reflex! I used it too, but found that when I got summer jobs they just wanted me to use dBase.
