It's been a while since we had any really good news to report, so here you go.
The reason behind the buffalo's attack on the trackers remains unclear. Reports indicate it became hostile before charging down the 52 year old
Seems pretty goddamned clear to me. A rare win for nature here.

Based on his social media presence, it is evident that Watkins was a passionate hunter who believed wildlife conservation was crucial. His profile displays him posing with various trophies he'd acquired through the years, including mountain lion and multiple deer.

Conservation crucial, so I can murder it.

Good to see the animal struck first; I really don't get the appeal of somehow expressing your "manhood" through killing something with a gun from hundreds of feet away.

Wanna prove how hard you are? Do it with a knife, against an animal that knows you're there.

Also lol at 'the reason for the attack remains unclear'....

Dude was stalking it to kill it, and it didn't feel that this was inline with its best interests?

My man died doing what he loved. Murdering animals for sport. Touching story.

Can't really call it a sport when the other side doesn't have a fighting chance.
TBF, stalking and ambush is how much of nature works. Most prey dies unexpectedly to themselves. OTOH, that is about the survival of the predator, not the getting off of the rocks.

Yeah but the animal in the wild is looking for its next meal as part of the natural food chain, not spending tens of thousands of dollars to go on a safari with advanced weaponry for the sole purpose of hanging its preys head on a wall.

This asshole got exactly what he deserved.

I still say that the African countries should turn it around - have safaris that they let loose poachers and they're hunted. Or they could just drop them in a Hyena den. That would work as well. :)

I'm fine with people hunting for food. Provided it isn't exotic species. In your own country / neighbourhood - with species that are in abundance. In much of Canada, if we didn't have people hunting deer, we would have a population explosion - for example.

We could put a dozen of them into some kind of "Hunterdome" and see which one makes it out. Naked, so that we can all see how unimpressive their junk actually is.
Yeah, but I don't want ANY of them getting out. :D

Winner goes through a door at the end....only to find a ramp that slides into a wood chipper.
