Neat experiment re: toy “black hole”

Well, it is all in the models. I read of a paper that purported to advance a viable theory wherein gravity itself is an emergent property of entanglement, in such a way that the need for the dark matter hypothesis is eliminated.

Which brings up the paradox of existence. Does stuff create spacetime? Stuff needs a place to reside, but by the same token, space is non-meaningful if there is no stuff to be in it. The true vacuum collapses. There is a curious symbiosis between what and where: neither can exist without the other.

Way cool. 🥳

But I would envision trying to put a reliable safety harness on the worm hole explorer, particularly as the experiments advance to constructing "adult" worm holes. Just in case some module introduces one of those fun "oops, ate next instruction" bugs and leaves the traveler in an indeterminate location. 😮

Hey, it is a quantum computer: the traveler can just tunnel their way out.
