I’ll start this by prefacing with the fact that I’m MS Word Certified. I thought I understood most of it.
I have completed my dissertation and am trying to put in the Table of Contents and Table of Figures. All my headings were properly formatted. Highlight the heading and. Tap Heading 1 or Heading 2, whatever level it happens to be. So I go to References and tap create in Table of Contents. A table pops up, but it’s generic without any of my stuff. On to Refresh table…at which point I get a notification that I don’t have a Table of Contents. WTF?!
Figures are better, but only marginally. The figure numbers populate, but not the name of the figures, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to add them in.
Anyone have any ideas other than just doing it all manually?
