Ridiculous, I record all of my games and then skip through the ads. No way I would ever watch otherwise.

what am I paying my monthly subscription fee for? I can see if i was on a reduced-price or free tier or something…

Amazon is even worse, I pay the monthly fee for ad-free and still several of the shows (even directly sourced from Amazon) still have them.

I understand what you are saying and why, but imagine you are at a live game. There are stoppages in play as teams trade possessions.

So you can either watch commercials or what amounts to the prayers standing round during a timeout.

I have a bigger issue with the video quality. Some plays almost look like they are on a green screen and the judders (worse during the Pitt/KC game) are horrible.

And maybe just my Roku, but the 10 sec back doesn’t work.

I only watch games that are recorded or far enough through the buffer that I can skip ads, period. Going to a game is an entirely different experience and I do enjoy it, at least pro basketball.

I just watched the KC game and was able to skip ads. It doesn’t have a preview when you FF though so you have no idea of where you are. Not nearly as good as YTTV but I can deal with it.

I figured out that if you go four clicks four times (or count 16 but intervals are easier for me) it’ll get you perfectly through the ads. Also 3 clicks right as the current play ends will get you to the next down. I have a Roku as well.

I have given up on football. The game is about 11 minutes long. Why should I sit for three hours to see 11 minutes of action? It is just ridiculous. As bad as baseball.

I've been to one pro basketball game and the amount of times they stopped the game so the viewers at home could watch commercials was insane. The pace of basketball made it annoying AF.

Yeah I did go to a Golden State Warriors game about 3 weeks ago and that was my experience as well. They comped me the tickets though because they're using some of my videos on their jumbotron and that was the main reason I went anyway.

As it relates to NF streaming games, my daughter who pays no attention to any sport not named F1, I had the Christmas NF games on and then Thursday nights Prime game and even she noticed the difference in quality. NF this year is what Prime was last year.

Got to say it would be cool to see a video you recorded on the jumbotron.

Since all I ever see it on is a tiny phone screen it is pretty awesome, all in 4K HQ full screen, nothing like it really.

My daughter went to the warriors/pacers game the other day with a VIP ticket. She had a good time, but thought the commercial-time entertainment was pretty cringe.

I went to a game for a firm thing (we had a suite) about a month ago. I agreed with her - two many stoppages, and the little dances and crap that they did during breaks were annoying.
