The new batteries can charge at 10C, with fast chargers peaking at 1,000 kW.

I’ll take one of those!

By the way, I’ve taken to (free) supercharging my car every day, so that i suck as much $$ out of elon’s pocket as possible by the time my new car arrives later in the year.
 
I read this morning that the new BMW Nueu Klasse will have a models this year with a driving range from 373 miles to 500 miles. Which led me to this video. Glad I only leased for 3 years!

yeah, between battery degradation, rapid technological improvements, and rapid depreciation, leasing seems to be the way to go for these cars. I haven’t committed to a lease duration for my iX yet, but 3 years seems about right.

I'm with your wife on this one, I'll be charging to around 80% unless I need to beef it up for trips. For me that's all I really need anyway and this way whoever gets it next will at least have a bit more longevity out of it.
