General No amazing flu vaccine for you

all about feelings the party of feeling and stupidity, not facts.the Christian party that does not care about people.

Moderna has an mRNA flu vaccine that achieves results superior to normal flu vaccines.

So of course we can’t have it.
Let's hope they can continue their research at least, I know it's a shot in the dark but maybe after the midterms we'll see him ousted. The man is flat out dangerous.

They’re shutting down down all infectious disease vaccine trials:

Just in: The FDA will review Moderna's mRNA flu vaccine.

In a phase 3 study of a Pfizer mRNA vaccine published last November in the New England Journal of Medicine, the authors wrote "The modRNA vaccine had statistically superior efficacy over the control vaccine, with greater immune responses to A/H3N2 and A/H1N1 strains, but was associated with more reactogenicity events." Importantly, although there were more local and systemic reactions than in the control group, there was no difference in severe events.

Of course, this doesn't mean the FDA will approve it or agree to review vaccines for other diseases, but it is a small step forward. I wonder if the outcry following their previous refusal moved the needle a bit. I think that if every poor decision is met with massive condemnation by physicians and public health authorities, and people lobby their senators and representatives, perhaps there is a glimmer of hope, at least in this area.

I’m cynical, and my assumption is they just want to stall as long as possible and find a “scientific” reason to reject it.
