One of my photos was reported as AI - even got Snopes involved

I spent a week in San Francisco about 30 years ago, and I confess this photo is striking to me also, exposing my geographic ignorance of the city. Looks amazing.

You might remember something similar (a few FB responses on a photography forum claiming a photo I put up was AI) happened to me a few weeks ago. That bugged me at the time. But now, after thinking it through, it doesn't bother me in the slightest, not feeling I need to prove anything to anyone - especially from a random online stranger. I guess we now just have to expect that to happen every once in awhile. Ten to fifteen years ago when I had some exhibitions and sold framed prints, that would have been different.

Today... I like going through my photos, printing and framing those that I like, and putting them on our home's walls mixed in with my wife's art. And giving some away to friends who visit and like them. That's what makes me happy today. :)
 
The Computer Museum in Mountain View, CA has reached out and will be exhibiting this image as an example of authentic photography being confused for Ai. It sounds like they'll be doing a thing on it which I welcome, I've notice a pretty big uptick on comments calling my photos and videos fake or Ai, I ignore them but it's frustrating as the line is definitely getting blurred.

Really sorry they get it at you and miss other fakes around, like news and photos.
There is a lot of confusion out there!

How do we know you're not an AI? :)

My answer would be "No AI would be crazy enough to run a forum like this."
