Punched in the face for merely being a Trump supporter.

Yeah, it's happening. I'm not going to deny it. Everyone's a bit of an ass these days.

There's a couple of stories I've read about two separate farmers living in two different parts of the country, one a Biden supporter, another a Trump fan. Both made these huge campaign support signs out of hay bales, and both watched their hard work burn to the ground after vandals set a match to them.

We're living in shitty times.

Shit. Should I have watched the damn video?

Well hell.

I almost didn't, (the title, what appeared to be a tear-stained face...) and admit that I was taken in - and a bit bewildered - by the beginning of the video.

And then, well, yes, it is well worth watching.

Worse, at the very outset, when the tear stained face first made an appearance, my liberal and democratic (small "d" here,) instincts ("it really is Not Nice to punch someone in the face"...actually, I'm supposed to think it is absolutely appalling) were at war with my pronounced political preferences (if the person punched did just vote for Mr Trump, well, could one perhaps plead provocation, or justification.....)

Brilliant video, and wonderfully clever and witty misdirection, or misrepresentation.

Trump supporters need to stop playing the "I'm just supporting a politician" card when their day of reckoning comes. At minimum they are giving a LOUD middle finger to half the country, every other foreign country, immigrants who aren't white, dignity, integrity, process, science, intelligence, and substantiated and proven facts. They know damn well what they are doing but every time they are met with the fist of reality suddenly they become this defenseless average citizen just minding their own business.

Hopefully it will be over soon enough, I think most of us are ready to move on. I don't think all Republicans are bad though, they're just in a shitty position being tied to this president even if they don't necessarily support him.

I told my girlfriend who lives about an hour away that I can't deal with our relationship issues until after the election. FACT. She agrees.
