Hahaha, spent too much time watching these, but it's amazing, funny, sad, confusing (as in, "really?")
This is Rufford Lane in North Nottinghamshire, England, specifically the Rufford Lane ford located here:

Basically it's a place in the road where you cross a shallow creek/runoff from Rufford Lake, except that it gets deep sometimes, but that doesn't stop people from trying
So what you get a hydrolock-o-rama, a whole slew of vehicles, some of which you might think can easily traverse this watery doom ...
If you look, a few of the more hardcore offroad vehicles will have a high mounted intake snorkel. The best is the cars who seems to make it, then about 30-40 feet after they exit, start smoking and crap out
It's become some a thing, people turn out just to watch.
This guy has shot close to a hundred videos (including some compilations of greatest fails, etc.) here:
In a few videos you'll see some EVs, which don't need an air intake, and just ford away
