There have been various rumors about iPhone Air not selling well, and now a report they are delaying version 2.

I played with one in the Apple Store, and I don’t quite get it. In my pocket, the difference in thickness between Air and Pro doesn’t much matter, and the Air was less comfortable (for me) to hold. Camera is much worse, cost is high, … Seems like a niche item (which is fine. To each their own).

That said, I also was unimpressed with the new Pro. I think the back looks pretty ugly - kind of like a weird space panda. Lots of seams and stuff - very “busy” looking.

Not too bad with a case on. I used to carry it naked, too many shattered backs, dented frames, and cracked screens that ended up costing me a good trade-in. Cases on the last three phones, and I didn't even remember what they looked like after I put the case on until I took it out to trade in.

Edit: Completely agree with the iPhone Air. I didn't see what the appeal was...

I don’t really get these reports. They keep changing their minds. Instantly sold out in china but isn’t selling well. Apparently.

Personally I’d rather have a regular or pro but I do think the air is comfortable and prettier

I was real close to purchasing a 17 Air solely based on its thinness. My current and past iPhones were a chore to pull out and put back in the pockets of shirts I like to wear when out making photos. The silicone cases were much too grippy.

Discovering the 17 Air couldn't shoot RAW photos put a pause to that. I'm hoping the next gen Air will have RAW shooting ability. Though I suspect Apple will restrict that to Pro and Pro Max phones.
